Manitou Australia is a joint venture between parent company Manitou France and local partners.  Mid 2005 saw the establishment of Manitou Australia, a subsidiary of parent company Manitou BF, the world’s leading supplier of rough terrain materials handling equipment. 

Manitou Australia has been established to enhance the level of customer support offered to users of Manitou products in Australia. 

Through the development of its product lines as well as the development of its independent Dealer network, Manitou Australia will help establish Manitou as the leading manufacturer of materials handling equipment in its chosen sectors of business. 

It is a core philosophy of Manitou Australia’s development to offer the highest level of support to the Dealer network and therefore the end user.  This will be achieved by offering high levels of support to the Manitou Dealer network throughout Australia. 
 

This support will be delivered through:

• Service Training Centre;
• Dedicated Service Support Personnel;
• Commercial Training Centre;
• Dedicated Marketing Team;
• Spare Parts Training Centre; and
• Dedicated Spare Parts Personnel.
  

Following on from the development of the Manitou product in Australia over the last 20 years by the existing Dealers, NTP Pty Ltd and LiftRite Hire & Sales, Manitou Australia will progressively take on the responsibility for the full importation and distribution of Manitou products throughout Australia.  In the near future, through the existing and developing Agricultural Dealer network, Manitou Australia will offer full supply and customer support of Manitou products to the Dealer network.
