Manitransit Range
Since 1995, Manitou has been offering an innovative truck mounted solution to meet the handling needs of road carriers.
This product is aimed at providing the “handling” service to the transporter who now unloads consignments himself.
Manitou has developed a truck with a telescopic boom with integral lateral motion based on a unique concept. The telescopic boom provides 360° visibility and sufficient front offset for unloading a lorry from only one side.

This new, unique, patented concept benefits from Manitou’s know how already available in over 100 000 Maniscopics.
With this new machine, Manitou really creates an as yet non-existent product family combining handling and extraction functions. Hence its name, which is a contraction of the trade name Manitou and the English word backhoe.
